Buck and RT Taylor

Buck and RT Taylor: After retiring, we realized we could support two causes that we have valued throughout our lives: education and career training. While wondering how to make support happen, a friend put us in touch with Sonbol Aliabadi, Executive Director, at the Sierra College Foundation. Through Sonbol and Foundation staff, we came to understand the hardships many Sierra College students have to cope with and the role the Foundation plays in providing them assistance. Significantly, we also learned that the Foundation provides multiple options for making effective use of financial gifts to benefit students; we became determined to use existing Foundation programs. We are committed to using Foundation services by placing a gift in an endowment fund for students. We are fortunate to have discovered an organization like the Foundation, one that will effectively use our gift for the benefit of Sierra College students.
